Each driver must read and agree with the following

You MUST be dedicated to making everyone's "simulated" racing experience as real as possible. The primary means to that end is to drive your car in the most competitive, yet realistic manner possible, as fast as you can without being dangerous, to yourself or others.

You MUST be committed to driving within the limits of your car, your ability, the track, and the limitations of "online" racing. You are expected to make as much effort to stay out of trouble AND to win as you would in a real car. Try to avoid "incidents" as seriously as real drivers must surely be serious about avoiding hitting the wall at 180mph in a quarter million dollar car.

You MUST be dedicated to coming to our races practiced on the weeks track and certain what you car will, and will NOT do. Being slow is part of racing and happens to the best drivers on some tracks, BUT, being out of control -- will not be allowed to continue.

Finishing dead last after a long, smooth drive is an accomplishment to be proud of. More so, in the view of this league, than an erratic, out of control, first place, marred by accidents.

Flaming, name-calling , and confrontational behavior, will NOT be tolerated. It is important that all drivers be treated with respect, on the track and off.

No excessive chatting during a race session. "Sorry", "Thanks", "Pass low" is acceptable chat. Chat like "What the hell was that" or "This sucks" is not.

After taking the checkered flag please pull over and park or pit in an orderly fashion. You can get a reckless driving penalty even after the checkered flag has dropped.

PROTESTS: Send me a PM on the forum and we will deal with it in a Gentlemanly fashion.

Addendum A: Overtaking

SCCA rules for overtaking apply to SRRS.

Addendum B: Course cutting

You must keep at least two wheels on the track surface at all times. Intentionally cutting corners in an unrealistic manner to improve lap times will results in a 10 point penalty.

Addendum C: Pass through handicap

The previous week’s top 3 finishers must perform a pit lane drive through within 4 laps from the start of the race. During the pass-through the driver must not stop for fuel or tires. This will apply to the full schedule and not reset for mini-seasons. Doing you drive though outside of the 4 lap window will result in a 10 point penalty. Failure to pass-through, stopping in your pit or speeding during the pass-through will result in a 10 point penalty on first offence. Second offence will result in disqualification. Third offence will result in disqualification and a one race suspension.

Addendum D: Controllers and connections

Drivers must drive with a steering wheel and pedals. No keyboard racing allowed. Drivers must have a decent broadband connection i.e. 'dsl or cable'. Dialup connections are not allowed as they effect all racers.

Addendum E: Compulsory Pit Stops

On Tuesday nights we do compulsory pit stops. So even if you could technically go the distance without pitting, you must stop for fuel. You must take on at least 2 gallons of fuel on this stop. A drive though doesn't count. Failure to do so will result in a 10 point penalty on first offence. Second offence will result in disqualification. Third offence will result in disqualification and a one race suspension.

Addendum F: Drivers Meetings

A Drivers Meeting will be found on the forum before each race. All drivers must read the DM the day of the race and then 30mins before qualifying in case of any last minute changes. If a driver shows up unprepared then they may not be eligible to race. This includes knowing if you have a drive though handicap or what your REWARDS weight is.
